ROBERT SCOTT BYRNES

Larry James, Col., Ret., Army
N., Charleston, SC., 29418, USA
Served with Bob, at Fort Sill
Lt., Byrnes, was a well liked member, of our unit. He was easy going, with his fellow soldiers, but still managed, to get the job done. When he was killed, it was a sad day and a shock, for all of us, who had known him. to all, who knew and loved him. He was so very easy, to like.

Honor Bob
You would be the same age, as I'am now. I did know you, but it grieves me to know, so many died, so young. You are remembered, by many.

I just wanted, to express my appreciation, for Bob. He gave his life, for his country and for all those, who live in it. Sufficient gratitude, can not be expressed, for what he did so selflessly. I can't believe the courage he had, saving his fellow soldiers. "Greater love, hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life, for his friends." John, 15:13. He will always be thought of, with the utmost respect.
