Advisory Team, Ordnance Officer
Tucson, Az., 85737, USA
The finest Officer with whom I served with, Lt., Bob Byrnes. Bob was truly an exceptional soldier, with whom I' am very proud, to have served. He was extremely knowledgeable and took necessary action, without waiting to be told. We often conversed about our problems, without completing a single sentence and arrived, at solutions together. I often include him in memoirs, of my Vietnam experiences. Bob, I will always remember you, your love of family, humor and devotion, to our country.

I Knew your father
sacramento, Ca., USA
Califorina, Viet Nam, Memorial, State, of Califorina
Thank you, for sacrificing your tomorrows, 1Lt., Bob Byrnes. May God bless you and keep you safe, in His arms. Those of us who remember the Vietnam War, are carrying the torch of remembrance for our fallen, our MIA's. and our POW's.. We are forever indebted to you. If I should die, and leave you here awhile, be not like others, sore undone, who keep long vigils by the silent dust and weep... for MY sake, turn again to life and smile... Nerving thy heart and trembling hand to do something, to comfort other hearts, than thine... Complete these dear, unfinished tasks of mine... and I, perchance, may therein comfort you. Leilani Brunson, adgt., Gen., Army, Ret.

Our Lady Assumption, Class Mates and Friend
I will, always remember you, Bob. I will always appreciate times we shared, in our teenage years and I will, forever be grateful for your support, as I struggled toward maturity. I had a chance to visit your grave, at Calvery Cemetery, in Sacramento, in 2008, 40, years, after your death at to young an age, during the tet offensive, of 1968. I saw, that your mom and dad and grandparents had joined, you and I wondered, what had become of your younger brother, God bless you!
