Living memorial-My son was named after you on the day you were laid to rest
The day Bob was laid to rest, my son was named in his honor by three people he went to high school with, my son however, was not born until Sept. 29, 1969. As his name sake, my Robert also joined the Army and is now serving in Special Forces after more than 20 years of service. I hope Robert Byrnes is proud of his name sake, as I'm sure my son is proud of the man he was named for so many years ago.
