Gerald Corlett was, honored and remembered, in his home town, of Oregon, OH., on October 18, 2008, when the Oregon, Vietnam Memorial, was dedicated. Three soldiers, who were in the battle, that fateful day, on Nui Ba Den, the Black, Virgin Mountain, attended the ceremony. 1st, Lt., Lee Mayo, the company c.o., Lt., Dick Denton, platoon, commander and Jerry Rising.
