Mary  Hiland txhilands@suddenlink.net Family PO Box. 1194 Andrews Tx 79714 USA Remembering you Dennis, for a few years I have gotten
to know you through others in the Hiland
family.
Today I learned more from your classmates and friends. Nancy told me about your plans for a career in broadcasting.
No doubt you would have done that in a grand
way!
This year at the Andrew H S. Veteran's program, you will
be honored along with other vets like your cousin Greg.
People in our community have learned of the return of your dogtag.
I tell my students about your sacrifice so they can better appreciate the price of freedom.
Thank you. Your family will not ever forget.
Mary. Hiland

George  Windisch gwindisch@gmail Teammate and brother Marine Methuen Mass 01844 Denny and I were members of the North Hills HS football team in Pittsburgh, Pa. Denny was always a role model for us younger players, as I'm sure he was for his Marines. As a brother Marine I learned of your death years after the War. Denny....The world has been diminished from the loss of your presence. As long as there are Marines you'll never be forgotten. Semper Fi.
