kenneth culshaw ken_@hotmail.co.uk Hello sir's Please allow me to introduce my self. My name is Kenneth George Culshaw, I live in Wigan in Lancashire in northwest England UK. Whilst trawling the internet I came across WWW. Thewall-usa.com, and found out of Donald Ignatius culshaw's existence. In England the surname Culshaw is not very common and mainly isolated to within south Lancashire especially the towns Ormskirk and Southport. An elderly aunty who has a keen interest in genealogy has traced our family tree back to the mid 1700's,and is very keen and eager to start investigating more now she has the prove there are Culshaw's in the USA. She knows some family members did travel to USA way back when, but knows very little of how long they stayed there if at all. Any information you may be able and willing to share with me that may prove we are related or other wise would be greatly appreciated. One of the major reasons I would like to know if there is any connection is when I saw the picture of Donald it was quite spooky, as it is like looking in to a mirror. I don't believe in coincidences. Saturday, August 20, 2005 |

Larry Lawrence brew@nwbrewers.com Hometown friend Don and I were hometown friends, serving our country, in far, away lands. I was in the Navy, stationed, in Ethiopia and we, would write each other often, about our experiences. Don's stories scared, the hell out of me. now, many years later, his good friends in VN., John Yelton and John Senka, helped me understand, what they were going through, at the time and how he died. I will never forget Don, He was a true hero. may he, rest in peace. http://www.manchu.org/mole_city/senka.htm Thursday, August 05, 2004 |
