Never To Be Forgotten
On Operation Beau Charger LZ Goose was inside the DMZ we could look into North Vietnam, Mark and I were together on the same chopper when we landed in the hot LZ, only our platoon landed before they changed the LZ. We were isolated and scattered and being attacked by a much larger force of NVA Regulars and being over run. We were side by side when he was KIA. Mark was always happy and the squad funny man. He will always be my brother and part of my family. I know he is guarding heavens streets with the rest of the squad. Rest in Peace. Semper Fidelis, Bill
