Forty years today
LCpl: Today, is forty, years, since you, gave all, for our country and our Corps. That fateful day, was Mother's Day, just as today, is Mother's day, 2009. Someday, we will meet in Heaven, with streets guarded, by United States Marines. We will, be looking and you and others who didn't, make it home, will, be there. (Special thanks, for the comments, posted, by Rusty Martin Smith. Those, are the kinds of remarks, that make the Wall live.) With all, our respect and admiration: SEMPER FI!!

“You are Remembered”
Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. “He which hath no stomach, to this fight, let him depart. But we in it, shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother.” Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless you, for your Sacrifice!!!

My father was, his best friend
48, cedar knoll, tuscaloosa, AL., 35405, USA
My name is, Rusty Martin Smith. I'am the namesake, of Rusty Dobyns. My father is, Kenneth N. Smith. The story, I have always been told, is, that before my father and Rusty split up, at Pendleton(?) they said, if they came back, that they would name, their next son, after the other one. I was in the Army, for 4, years, from 1999-2003 and I was stationed, at Ft. Huachuca, AZ.. The moving version, of the wall, came there and I have Rusty Martin's name, charcoaled, on my refrigerator. Whenever, I see that, or websites, such as this, I look him, up and I get this chill inside. My father says, I'am a lot like him. My dad really, loved him and talks of him, often. I'am proud, to have his name. Rusty Martin Smith
