Distance Cousin
15 Hampton Road Glen Gardner NJ 08826 USA
My mother's maiden name was Dreher. The Dreher family of Eastern Pennsylvania. I know you were from Ohio, but I'm sure we are related. I served during the Vietnam war as a radar tech from Jan. 1966 till Jan. 1969 with a Hawk missile unit stationed in Germany from 1967-68. I was one of the lucky ones who didn't have to serve in Vietnam. If I would have had to serve like you I would have. I lost a cousin in Khe Sanh on Jan.29,1968. He too is on the Wall as you are. I salute you for your service and for you giving the all for our great country. May God watch over your family and may he Bless your Soul.

Remembering, a fallen hero, on the anniversary date, of his great sacrifice, in Vietnam. Like many others, you lost your life, on the 1st, day, you entered the war. It matters not, how long, you were there, Sir, what matters is, that without hesitation, or regret, for your own safety, you went to fight, for your Country. You are, a true hero! I pray that someday, your remains will come back, to 'Our great Land' and you can be laid, to rest, where your family and friends, can visit your grave. Rest in Peace, brave warrior. God Bless.

Jackie Taylor You Have Not Been Forgotten!
I had, the opportunity to visit, The Vietnam Memorial Wall. I was so overwhelmed, with sorrow and pain, that I could not hold back the tears, for those heroes and their families, who lost so much. Though my visit, to the Wall was a few years ago, I feel, that I left a piece, of my heart there. To honor those, who died in the Vietnam, War and to say thank you, I created a small tribute, to those heroes. Please click, on the link above, to view, my website.

Lest we forget. They shall, grow not old, as we, that are left, grow old. Age shall, not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down, of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them.
