Wayne Drumm Nrthwind1@aol.com Best Friend 841 Breakwater Circle Anchorage, Alaska 99515 USA Best Friends forever. Rich was such a good friend and buddy. Seems like yesterday that we played as little boys not yet even old enough to go to school. We shared our small plastic soldiers, and imitated being at war. One time he would win the next I would win. God I miss him so much! I wish He could share in my life now, and know they joys and heartaches of this wonderful life. He missed so much.Seems so tragic, makes my cry everytime I think of him. We double dated in High School and shared so many wonderful secrets as friends often do. I had just finished Army Officer Candidated School when Rich decided to enlist in the Marines. I tried to talk him into staying in college, but I guess He needed to do what he thought was best for him. Such a wonderful young man, great smile, good looks, warm heart, loved to laugh. We had crushes on the same girls so many times. we laughed about it.Wow, his memory breaks my heart, as Im sure it does others as well. As a man now looking back, I could not have asked for a better friend than him, Thank You God. Monday, June 19, 2000
