Still Remembered After All These Years
None of us could have imagined back then the technology available today. I was in 5th grade in St. Martin's when they told us about your ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam. It has stuck with me all these years. So when I recently became a member of a FB page that pays tribute to those who died way too young from Amityville - I made sure you were remembered. RIP

IN FOND REMEMBRANCE
I think of Ed often..funny, I just saw the movie Hamburger Hill, and remember how I felt when I heard Ed died many years ago. My family had moved from Amityville to Tucson Arizona in 1964. I started college at the U of A their but did enroll in ROTC.
Ed and I were good friends and were on the high school baseball team, and Babe Ruth League. He beat me up once when I made a stupid joke about his little brother starting his house in fier again. I definetely lacked class, and am sorry to this day.
God bless you my old friend, and to all the peaple who have posted loving notes here.

A Good Friend From High School to USMC
I played drank and drove Eddy to the airport to fly to Calif. I went to his funeral while on my Boot Camp leave from Parris Island. I spent a few tours in Nam. I was one of the lucky ones who made it. I think of you often. Semper Fi Artie Braun
