Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. “He which hath no stomach, to this fight, let him depart. But we in it, shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother.” Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless you, for your Sacrifice!!!

I remember seeing him one time but my mother June talks of him often. She says my son Kenny reminds her so much of him. I wish I had known him but we lived in another state - Indiana so I rarely got to see family there. Now I see his brother Gary Lee some and his sister Montez. I remember the day we were told of his death. It tore my mother up pretty bad. Never forget that day. Have always heard what a great ball player and man he was.

Yes, I remember Charlie
For those of us, that knew him and were there when he died, we pray that the ones, he left behind will forever be better, having known him. He was, an exceptional man and had so much more, to offer our country. If you would like to know more, about what I remember, please feel free to email. Steve Manthey
