Met Charles, at Boot camp, in San Diego, in Sep 1968. As I recall, he was, a state champion wrestler, from MO.. He did, very well, in boot camp and was, platoon, honor graduate. He inspired, all of us. I just recently, learned, of his death, from, another platoon mate, that found my address, at Brent Mascher's site. He was, in plt., 2080, also. You are missed, Charles, it was, an honor to have been in training, with you. Thank you, for the information, Ben Reed & I do remember, you well. Semper Fidelis, LCPL., Atkison.
