I was, in the same company, as SSgt.
43, Margaret St., Norwood, mass., 02062, U.S.A.
Unforgettable Memories
I was, in Charlie, Co., 1/46/198th, L.I.B., Americal Division, along, with SSgt., Auxier. I was on the hill, when the command-detonated bomb, went off. At least, four, were burie alive, by the blast. We found many, but most, were dead. (including Don Greene, from Boston.) Captain, Martin, had us search, relentlessly, for SSgt., Auxier, but we, couldn't, find him. Finally, after searching, the entire next, day, we had, to move out. SSgt., Auxier was, a hero and a huge, asset, for Charlie Co..

Ultimate sacrifice, for those, he loved
I never, knew you personally. That isn't, nearly as important, as knowing what you did, what you gave, for your family and those, you loved and left behind. I hope, you are with Jesus today, in a place, with no shooting and no fear, of war. May, God comfort and protect you, through out eternity.
