Uncle David was watching you in Afgahnistan and that is why you made it back in one piece... Im sure if he was here today you and him would be to sharing war stories.. Friends and family of Uncle David, My son Kyle has been very involved David's life as kyle has stated in previous posts His great Uncle is what inspired him to become a Marine. At one point during Kyle's bootcamp My Mom (Uncle David's Sister) came across a letter that was written by David's 1st sargent who was with him on the day he was kill describing in great detail as to what happened on that dreadful day. We sent a copy of that letter to Kyle at Paris Island and Kyle showed that letter to his Drill Instructors. No matter when Kyle walks into my house he always goes over to the wall of heros where Kyle now hangs proudly with his GREAT UNCLE DAVID. Soon Kyle's medals will be joining Uncle David's. If anybody has a story to share please contact Kyle by email as he would sit for hours talking about it. Thank you so much and god bless

Great Uncle
Dear Uncle David Well it's been a while but I have been real busy, I finally graduated Marine Corp bootcamp on Sept. 24 2010. And on Dec. 30, 2011 I returned safely from my first combat deployment to Afghanistan. I could only imagine some of the stories you would be telling me (your fellow devil dog) if you were still around. We still have that picture hanging up of you in the living room, and even though we never met your my biggest hero hands down. Well I'm on duty right now at the barracks here on Camp Lejeune so I better get back to work. Talk to ya soon If anybody knew my uncle or served with him or has pictures or any stories of him I would love to talk with you so please email me at kyle.dagz@gmail.com Thank you

“You are Remembered”
Peace and condolence to the family and friends. “He which hath no stomach, to this fight, let him depart. But we in it, shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother.” Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless you, for your Sacrifice!!!

My Hero
I think of you often. We have a picture of you hanging in the dining room. Your courageous efforts have inspired me to become a marine myself.
