Memorial Day 2013 - 45 years
LCpl Freeman: :Today is Memorial Day 2013. Thinking of you and other Marines who gave all in 1968. 45 years have passed since you gave all.It is now 40 years since the ceasefire and 38 since the fall of Saigon (now Ho Chi Minh City). So much has changed in the world since the fateful year of '68. It has been five years since I last visited your site: SEMPER FI!

Forty years today
LCpl, today is forty years since you gave all for us. When I pass away and see the streets where I arrive guarded by United States Marines, I'll know I'm in Heaven. We did our tour in hell. Its a Marine thing others will never understand.

“You are Remembered”
Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. "He which hath no stomach to this fight let him depart. But we in it shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother”. Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless You for your Sacrifice!!!

I had the opportunity to visit The Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington DC. I was so overwhelmed with sorrow and pain that I could not hold back the tears for those heroes and their families who lost so much. Though my visit to the Wall was a few years ago, I feel that I left a piece of my heart there. To honor those who died in the Vietnam War and to say thank you I created a small tribute to those heroes. Please click on the link above to view memorial website.
