Forty years today
PFC., today, it is forty, years, since you, gave all, for us. You and all the others who, made the sacrifice, for country and the Corps, are remembered and honored. "If I ever, look, on Heaven's scenes, I will find the streets, are guarded, by United States Marines." It is really, a Marine thing that others, can never understand. Semper Fi!!

I did not know you, but you knew my cousin, Pat Allen. You lived, on her block. I was at your funeral, just before leaving, for Parris Island. I didn't, understand, your sacrifice at the time, but now, having served, I DO! I pray, that all, who knew and loved you, are Blessed. I know you, are in Heaven... away, from the horrors, of war and the ugliest, of this world. Semper Fi!

“You are Remembered”
Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. “He which hath no stomach, to this fight, let him depart. But we in it, shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother.” Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless you, for your Sacrifice!!!

"If you are able, save them a place, inside of you
and save one backward glance, when you are leaving, for the places they can no longer go. Be not ashamed to say, you loved them, though you may, or may not have always. Take what they have left and what they have taught you, with their dying and keep it with your own. And in that time, when men decide and feel safe, to call the war insane, take one moment to embrace, those gentle heroes, you left behind. "Major, Michael Davis O'Donnell, 1, January 1970, Dak To, Vietnam." America, has been built on the blood, of Hero’s and Brave Men of Honor. Thank you, for your service and my freedom. May God bring comfort, to your loved ones. You shall never be forgotten, by a grateful nation."
