Remembering you this day and I honor you. You were a good friend and I remember you often. I wish I knew where your family live. If anyone reading this has any information regarding Bill's family I would appreciate it.

Long ago but not forgotten
Thank for your service and your sacrifice for our country. I do remember you with a smile when I think of that summer we spent at Upward Bound, on the FDU Madison Campus. I do have a few photos of that summer, I should upload them. You were a good friend. I have always been sad that I wasn't able to attend your memorial service - I did not get a message until after. Happy birthday to you tomorrow. I wish you were still here enjoying retirement life.

Good Friend Not Forgotten
Bill and I got to know each other the summer between our junior and senior in high school and became friends. I remember him as a kind and compassionate person and good friend. When I heard of his death my heart sank and I just felt a sadness over come me. Even after 43 years, I can vividly remember the moment my mom called me at school and told me Bill had been killed. Whenever I am in DC I visit the wall and remember a friend from many years ago. God bless you Bill and the family that was left behind.

NOW SLEEP Peace has come. Now you can truly sleep,my son. The muddy field where you were laid Flag-draped, will now be green. Redbud and cherry blossoms can be seen Soon in bloom above your head. Arlington's Eternal Flame Flickers across granite rows To illuminate your name And then beneath it (with lightning's calm) Strikes in black the word VIETNAM On your own stone. Peace has come. Your medals may turn green In time, like your beret But forever there are those who'll say, 'I live because he cared he came!'

I had the prvilege, of knowing this young soldier, for only a brief time, I was with the Recon., unit, that was with him at the time, he was wounded. I never knew, he had perished, that terrible day. I send my sorrows, to his family and fellow soldiers. Your forever friend, (Rick) Roche.

“You are Remembered”
Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. "He which hath no stomach, to this fight, let him depart. But we in it, shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother.” Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless you, for your Sacrifice!!!
