I flew, with Jerry as a Radar, Intercept Officer, in the F-101B, Voodoo, around 1963-64, in the 13, FIS., at Glasgow, AFB., Montana. We were, in the same flight. One, of his favorite sayings, was there was no better basketball played, then in Southern Illinois. He was, a great pilot. We had, both graduated from and received our comissions, in the AF., from Southern, Illinois University.

Jerry and I, were related. Our relatives came, from southern illinois. We were also, TKEs., at SIU., where he was President, of our chapter, for a year. Jerry was, a real nice guy who loved, his country. I followed him, to Vietnam in late 1966 and 67 and thought of him, often, while serving there. Where ever, you are partner - give'em hell!
