Diane Detweiler-Terzakos www.dianeterz@optonline.net A close friend My sons name Bruce was one of many friends growing up in Richmond Hill. When he went off to war,I tried to write to him almost every day giving him updates on what was happening with the crowd. He wrote back and thanked me for being there for him . When Bruce died my promised to him was that someday I would name my son after him and so i did. My son Bruce Robert has my hero's name along with the knowledge that he died to help keep us free. The parents of Bruce Robert Hayes are my childs godparents !I thank them for thier son! Friday, June 17, 2005
Jackie Taylor You, Sir, Have Not Been Forgotten! http://www.geocities.com/rememberance004 I had the opportunity to visit The Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington DC. As I searched and, found the names of my friends, classmates, neighbors etched into the smooth, black face of the Wall, an extraordinary outpouring of emotion became so strong. I was so overwhelmed with sorrow and pain that I could not hold back the tears for those heroes and their families who lost so much. Though my visit to the Wall was a few years ago, I feel that I left a piece of my heart there. To honor those who died in the Vietnam War and to say thank you I created a small tribute to those heroes. Please click on the link above to view memorial website. Sunday, April 25, 2004
