Always Remembered
If Bill, had been standing, a few inches, to the left and I had been, a few inches, to the right, it would be he writing, about me. His face, as he turned toward me, will be etched, forever, in my mind. He paid, the full price, in a split second. I don't care, what the critics, say, about the Vietnam, Conflict, We did, our job and all paid, a price, but none so costly, as those memorialized, on that WALL. God Bless you and hold you, in the palm, of his hand, for eternity.

I was only, 10, yrs., old, hearing, of Bill's death, in early 1965, as I was, then a resident, of Bay Village, OH. and he, attended my church. My grandmother (Mary Hagan) died, on Sept., 30, 1965 and I recall, finding his grave, at Holy Cross, Cemetery, (Brook Park, OH.) so close, to my grandmother's, grave and saying prayers, for the repose of both, of their souls. Eternal rest, grant unto him, oh Lord and let perpetual, light, shine upon him. may he, rest in peace, amen!
