With him in Basic School, Co. G.'61
At The Basic School you were always yelling down the hall, telling us Lt.s to, 'Lock yourselves in you rooms.' I remember your rebellious and humorous nature and I see you went on to serve with great honor. Semper Fi.

I am a researcher from Lake Central High School and I am looking for information regarding this soldier. The history department at Lake Central is constructing a Vietnam War memorial in honor of the men from Indiana who died serving their country. It would be extremely helpful if I could acquire phone numbers or e-mail/regular addresses of his family members. I thank you in advance for your cooperation.

We Lose the Best First
My friend you are sorely missed. I'll never forget the long conversations we had together, you were my kinda guy. You relished in talking about your wife , your tour in germany, playing golf. You were a superb Marine and we all looked up to you. It's been close to forty years but I remember you often. Danny S is with you now. God rest both you Marines. Semper Fi, RA "Pop" Doyle USMC ret.

Remembering a Classmate
Ron: I can still recall you as a classmate at the Basic School in Quantico back in "61" while going through WOC-2. Bright, frindly, and always smiling. I also remember sitting by your bedside at "Charlie Med" the day after we got hit on Hill #327. I held your hand just hours before they took you away on the medevac flight. I'll never forget you, my friend. I'll see you one day when we can serve together, guarding the streets of Heaven. Semper Fi.
