Jack McLean jamclean@aol.com Dearest friend Washington, DC God Only Knows I first met Sid at supply school at Mountfort Point. We spent several months in Barsatow together before getting our orders changed from supply to 0311. I last saw him shortly after we arrived in Vietnam on a convoy near Camp Evans - we were all headed north. I ache every day for his loss and feel enormous pain for his mother and father. Sid was a most extraordinary boy. Tuesday, September 30, 2003 |
