Elroy: As Memorial Day, approaches, I always say, a special prayer, for you. It has been many years, since we, played basketball together, at Langdon, High, but I always knew, you were, a talent. I have an etching, of your name and it is a reminder, of the sacrifice, you have made, for freedom. I served, in the 'Nam,' after you and I, survived and have and continue, to do, what I think is necessary, to ensure your sacrifice, is not forgotten. God bless you, Elroy, you were, the best. Norm

Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. “He which hath no stomach, to this fight, let him depart. But we in it, shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother.” Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless you, for your Sacrifice!!!

Same Company.
It was a cool, misty, morning, as we moved, through, the dry paddies. AK., fire, opened up, from the hedgerow, ahead. Green and white tracers, came, at us. Sgt., Beier, was returning fire, in a prone position, from a hedgerow, when he got hit. I remembered, that it was, Cinco, de Mayo. It, was no holiday.
