J.T. JOHNSTON jj30hsu@gmail.com Worked on the same plane at Takhli Tim sacrificed more that most of us and was doing his duty to help keep an Air Force weapons system flight ready. I didn't know him personally but worked with him from time to time on the engine trim pad when my plane had to go there for repairs. It was my aircraft ( I was a flight line Crew Chief) that was involved with Tim's death on June 26, 1968. Tim was sucked up and killed in the engine of EB66 #491 while performing engine adjustment repairs on that aircraft so that it could return to the flight ready status the following morning.
