Wayne  Denny fishnfever@charter.net Best friend. Was in Army together 335 W. Chowan St. Kill Devil Hills NC 27948 USA Still my best friend after 45 or so years I posted years ago under the name, Wayne Denny, using a different e-mail address. Today is Memorial Day and I always think of my best friend on this day. Don't think for a second that Memorial Day is the only day I think of him I think of him on a regular basis. We met on the bus heading to Fort Bragg N.C. from Portsmouth, Virginia. We sat next to eath other and were together during basic training. We quickly became the best of friends. We spent lots of time together until he was ordered to Viet Nam and connunicated by mail until his death. I loved him and always will. As I age I get closer to seeing my buddy. May 27, 2011 |
