James Holley jthholley@aol.com Same CO in OCS together Hernando Beach FL 34607 USA Fellow OCS graduate and Vietnam Vet
Dennis and I went through 6 months of Corps of Engineer OCS in the same company at Ft. Belvoir, VA. We graduated Feb. 1967. I had originally enlisted for flight school and accepted OCS in basic training. Decided after OCS not to go to flight school and nine more months of training. Was in Vietnam from 9/1/1967 to 8/31/1968. Was supporting the Royal Thai Army SE of Siagon when Dennis was killed.
I was just going through old orders I have kept and started looking up names from my OCS class when I saw that Dennis was listed. Good guy. What a loss. Jun 4, 2010 |
