Peter Livshin plivshin@rocketmail.com I Was An ROTC cadet at Trinity University 1968 PO Box 35, 14 Maple Street Milford,NY 13807 USA A Builder of Men LTC Parson ( although at the time he was my ROTC instructor he was a Major) was a man for whom I had the utmost respect. He was able to take young college boys and turn them into men and more importantly officers in the United States Army. I shall never forget him and all kindness and toughness which important to later in my life. He was and is , in my mind a true teacher ( to me that is the highest compliment one man could receive). To all who knew Colonel Parsons, he had our respect and admiration ! Tuesday, August 24, 1999

Stacey Hansen sh_dogtags@hotmail.com Family. Please contact me! I was searching through the names of Veterans on the wall and have found only ONE match. That match has been to Parsons, Donald E. I traveled to Vietnam to backpack in 2000 and was there for over a month. One day I saw some dogtags in a glass case and was shocked to see them there. It made me nauseous because I thought our government would have surely gone over there and retrieved them. Not so. Throughout my trip, it sort of became my mission.to bring home as many tags as i could find. And that was what i did. I thought that even if i never found any of the soldiers who wore them, at least they would be on "American soil". Some have questioned their authenticity, but I don't listen to what the skeptics say. I have returned 2 tags so far and simply would like to return as many more as possible.and let the Veterans decide for themselves. Anyway, I have a Dogtag labeled: "Parsons, Donald E." Incidentally, some of the tags I brought back have a newer, cleaner look to them. This tag doesn't. My HOPE is that a family member could contact me so we could exchange more of the information on the tag and discover if this is the "SAME" Donald E. Parsons. Please email me at: sh_dogtags@hotmail.com You can view my website at: www.vietnamdogtags.com I REALLY hope you find this message! stacey Monday, August 26, 2002
