“You are Remembered”
Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. "He which hath no stomach to this fight let him depart. But we in it shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother.” Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless You for your Sacrifice!!!

I was near him when he was killed-

You are remembered, my friend-
They killed a lot of us on that little hill called Panther 3 that night. The mortars, rockets and RPG fire was intense beyond belief- It was a wonder any of us made it out- Everyone that I was aware of between me and the FDC center was hit. We named a firebase after you, though- Firebase Roy- Sadly, your friend Whitey was killed there is a truck wreck, Roy-I was near him, when that happened, too- I guess its true that the good ones go first, because they took the 2 of you, and not me-

Never to be forgotten
Jerry was a couple of years behind me in high school but I remember him as a fun loving kid. I just found out about his death in that awful place 34 years ago. Will it never end? Rest in peace Jerry, you'll never be forgotten.
