Louise  Paul soloflyer1949@gmail.com Grew up together/ classmate/ friend 419 E. Graham St. Prairie Grove AR 72753 USA My Sweet Friend, My hero Jim was a classmate of mine through Junior High and part of High School Back in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. I remember we use to spat alot when in jr. high like brother and sister, however when Jim went into the Marines I was so Fortunate to spend one of his last nights home before going to Viet Nam. I believe it was the night before he left. We met up in a park, he was in his Marine Uniform. my feelings for Jim changed at that very moment. We went to a local dance that night and i remember we slow danced together. He kissed my cheek as we danced and we held each other close. Jim walked me home that night. We kissed and hugged goodbye. We promised each other we would write and see what happens from there. I don't know if my letter ever reached him he was KIA I believe 3 weeks later. My parents sat me down to break the horrible news to me. I have mourned the loss of this Great Man and Soldier all these years. You will forever have my heart. Thank you for your bravery my Precious Friend and thank you for the dance. You wore your Marine Uniform with Pride. You are a Hero. We will meet again. Rest in Peace I will Never forget our last night together. Nov 22, 2012
