I carried his body to the medevac helo. Although I had carried other bodies before, this left a lasting impression on me. I've tried to locate his parents or his widow to tell them, without success. If anyone knows their where abouts, please have them contact me. Thanks, and Semper Fi.

“You are Remembered”
Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. "He which hath no stomach to this fight let him depart. But we in it shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother”. Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless You for your Sacrifice!!!

I was a marine in the same unit as PFC Sargent, Lima Co. 3/26. It has been many years but I can still remember the day "Buddy" died. May you rest in peace in the loving arms of God. You made the ultimate sacrifice for your country and until the day I die I will never forget you for it. You were a brave Marine...Mike Hulak
