SOME CAME FROM THE EAST COAST CITIES SOME FROM THE RURAL AREAS OF THE EASTERN STATES MANY CAME FROM THE MIDWESTERN STATES FROM THE PLAINS TO THE ROCKY MOUNTIANS SOME CAME FROM PLACES LIKE DALLAS OR SANTE FE, MANY CAME FROM THE FAR WEST PLACES LIKE LA., SEATTLE, TUSCAN SOME CAME FROM ALASKA AND HAWAII AND GUAM. THEY ALL CAME TO THIS LITTLE COUNTRY OF VIET-NAM TO HELP THIER FELLOW MAN. AND THESE MEN ON THIS BLACK WALL LEFT BEHIND THIER LIFE'S SO THAT WE COULD LIVE OUR'S!! No veteran should ever be forgotten. The veteran who lived through this horrible war, left with everlasting memories and whose lives may be altered forever, the disabled veteran who returned with hardships and many permanent reminders and the pain of that war, the POW/MIA veteran we wait for and whose family and friends are tormented for so, so long not knowing and the fallen veteran who gave his/her life at such a young age leaving their families and loved ones devastated forever - all had one thing in common and that was to fight for our freedom, our country - we owe them so much and a thank you is where to begin and to never forget them for their gallantry, fortitude and valor. I respectfully salute each and every one of our veterans.~~~~

I attended school with Marvin. He was avery popular boy and could claim almost all the kids as a friend. A good athlete and all around personable guy. It is a shame that such a nice person had to die so young.

marvin was a good man it a shame he had to die so young. he was always getting the ladies. sometime he would take me out to bars and teach me how to pick up ladies. marvin was a good man. peace on his soul.
