Father of the finger fawn, I salute you as only you would understand.
You asked me to put 'father of the finger fawn,' beneath your name on the memorial. Little did you know that it would be thirty years for me to comply. I apologize, but i know that you understand. What a brave guy you were, purple hearts galore, and they list your death as drowning. Where's the justice? But we know, don't we? Keep the peace, my friend, and i hope that Mustang is still getting you around. Always, Hal, 5th SFGA Vietnam.

To A 173rd Airborne Brigage Memeber
Danny Spencer had just returned from the 173rd Airborne Brigade in Viet Nam when I had met him. He had been wounded several times with the "Herd". And still volunteered for Special Forces so he could return to S.E Asia. One fine soldier is missed by at least myself and several others. God Bless Spencer
