To a friendly and humble hero
Tremaine was a Marine grunt with BLT 1/3 aboard the USS Okinawa. What a humble and friendly person was this hero. The puertoricans aboard the BLT had a great friend on him. I was wounded 10 days after he was killed and I will remember him as long as I live and I wiil keep sending Mother's Day cards to your mama in Oconowoc. God Bless you brother. Semper Fi. L/cpl.
