You Are Not Forgotten
You left for Vietnam while I was at UC Berkeley, and I did not know you had gone. Then I learned the next year from your sister Leslie that you had died there. I remember you when you were 4 and 6 and 10 and 16, my little cousin, for whom I babysat. Now you are with your mother Shirley and your sister Leslie and your father Martin. Your brother Mark (Magoo)is married and has children. So your family line goes on. You are missed. Peace to you.

For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother”. Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless You for your Sacrifice!!!

My Heart Goes out to your family. I was a student in Michaels father's class at Hayward High. (Mr Volheim was a wonderful teacher)I still wonder whatever became of him? But I remember when we found out his son had been killed in Viet Nam.
Michael, you are a Hero and you will never be forgotten.
Thank You and Your Family For Your Service & Your Ultimate Sacrifice.

He died in my arms
I was probably one of a few that knew him as "Cory", this brave soldier died in my arms that unforgetable day. I have missed him all these years. I will see him again beyond the veil.
