Love your daughter - Michelle Nov 11, 2011
Michelle  Sartain-Weigner michelle_26687@hotmail.com daughter 1915 San Buena Ventura Way San Miguel CA 93451 USA My dad forever Dad, Even though I was 1 1/2 yrs old (July 14, 1969) when you past away (July 27, 1970), you are always in my heart and in my thoughts. I was mad at you for leaving me but all you were doing is protecting and serving our country. How can I be mad at you for that? I married a wonderful man that protects me the way I know you would. Even though you were not physically at my wedding you were in all of our thoughts. We did take a bow of silence just before we got married. Brother David gave me away and so did you. I know you were at our side and always will be. We love you dad and so do your grandchildren from brother David and me (mine: Trevor, Nathan and Cassie brother David: Ashlynn and Ryan). Nathan who was born July 28 (you past away July 27) to my surprise is walking in your foot steps.
Dad - you are my HERO - Love your daughter Michelle Nov 4, 2011

Joseph Cooke joecooke@saber.net Former Advisory Team Member 201 Scott Street Ukiah, Calif. 95482 USA I served with Capt. Weigner on Advisory Team 28 Tuy An District. I was the Team RTO, and happened to be on radio watch at the time Capt. Weigner and Sgt. Shaw were caught in an anbush. That radio transmission from over thirty years ago still replays in my mind. I think of you alot Capt. Weigner, even though I only had the pleasure of knowing you for a short time. If I remember correctly, I think you had children, as I vaguely remember seeing pictures of them. It was an honor to serve with you. We all did our best. Joe Sunday, April 22, 2001
