Richard  Davis boonierat@frontier.com friend/platoon mate 82 Lora Lane Foster WV 25081 USA 47 long tearful years...... We lost Henry Joe on this date in 1967. We trained together, were best friends, and on this day I can still see him going up thru the trees on a rope harness. I still cry for Henry Joe as do his other platoon mates. He's soaring with fellow Eagles now, someday we will all join him, God's speed Henry Joe, God's speed

Linda  McLaine Dear Joe:
We went to school together and I live in DC. We are a Navy family. There is not a Memorial Day that goes by that we don't put a rose at the base of the Wall near your name. If your family ever reads this, I want them to know that our family - and my children who never knew you - have honored you every year.
May you and all of your brothers and sisters be at peace. So many of the ones who lived will never be able to do that. May 24, 2009 |
