Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. “He which hath no stomach, to this fight, let him depart. But we in it, shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother.” Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless you, for your Sacrifice!!!

I served, with Sgt., Collina, in Viet-nam and considered, him a friend, who would go out, of his way, to help you. I worked, in the orderly room, from November, 1969, until going home, in June, of 1970 and got, to know him, during his time, with "B," Company. He was one, of the most, fantastic people, I have ever known, in my life and I, was totally rocked, when hearing, of his death. The good, do die young. God bless and keep you.

Proudly served, under George Collina
PO., Box, 4232, Brandon, Ms., 39047, USA
Thanks, George
I served, as a squad leader, under Sergeant, Collina, working out of LZ., Dotty, near Chu Lai. Sergeant, Collina, was the reason a lot, of the men, in our platoon, came home. He never asked us, to do anything, he was not willing, to do himself. He would never, put us into a situation, that would endanger our lives, without analyzing all, of the outcomes. Sergeant, Collina, won our respect, by leading in a quiet, unassuming manner. We would do, anything he asked, because we knew, he would be right there, with us. Our entire platoon, was numb the day, that George Collina and Thomas Smith, were killed together, in ambush. We had lost, not only a leader, but to many of us, a father figure. I hope, his family will, be comforted in knowing, that many, other good young men, would not have come home, had it not been, for the intelligence and leadership, of Sergeant, George Collina. His life, is a debt, we can never, repay. It was, an honor to know, him and to serve, under him. Thank you, George.

George was, a friend from 1961, in Bad Herfeld, Germany. He was, a very quite person, that would do anything to help, a friend. He made, Sgt., E6, in Company, D, 317th, Engineers and did so, because he was, a top soldier. I was sad, to hear, that we lost him in V.N., God bless him, for his sacrifice. We remember George, at our reunion every other year, that we have for the men, of Company, D. Regards: Richard A. Revell
