Help me find out about my uncle.
. . Contributed By Edward Witte On Saturday, February 05, 2000
I just found out that I was named for an uncle who died in Quang Nam. You can imagine how shocked I was to find this out at age 26. I am trying to find out more info about him and I have a couple of questions. He was a Marine, and his MOS was 1371. What is a 1371? I can't seem to find out what unit he was in either. What are some good ways to find out more info about him. He was my fathers brother, my mother has no info about him. My father left when I was a year old, and both of his parents passed away. I cannot locate any other relatives for info. It is important for me to know more about him. I would also like to visit his grave, but I have no idea how to find out where he is burried. Thank you for any help you can give me. Edward Cy Morrow 149383477 E-4 USMC
