Dick Murphy of Norwood, MA He served with Mike Co. 3/4 in Vietnam from Dec 14, 1967 until KIA June 15, 1968 - When his possessions came home a flag which he carried throughout his tour had been signed by 21 comrades. Contributed By dave wilkerson On Saturday, August 21, 2004 saw a note from steve a few messages back.steve, if you can, please contact you'r v.a.service officer, or perhaps your local vfw post. i am not to sure on this, but if i remember correctly, there was an article in either the june or july issue of the vfw magizine that stated the government now recognizes and treats all illnesses/diseases related to exposure to agent orange during the vietnam era. i know this is a long shot, but i wish you nothing but the best of luck in obtaning a copy of that magizine. if all else fails here is the address.vfw magizine, 406 w34th street, kc. mo. 64111. this is something the vfw has fought for, and you, along with everyone of us deserves it.GOB BLESS.

He made it home from vietnam and died in sept. of 78 or 79 in an oil rig accident.(?) He was supposedly living in Loredo Texas at the time. Thank you and god bless all of our soldiers. Contributed By dave wilkerson On Thursday, August 26, 2004 AS A VIETNAM VET., I JUST WANT TO TAKE A MOMENT TO THANK ALL THE VETERAN'S OF WWII AND THEIR FAMILIES FOR ALL THE SACRIFICE'S THEY MADE TO LITTERALY SAVE THIS WORLD AND TO PRESERVE THE FREEDOMS I ENJOY TODAY. GOT A CHANCE TO VISIT THE WWII MEMORIAL, AND DISCOVERD WHILE THERE, THAT WE ARE LOOSEING AN AVERAGE OF 1,500 DAILY. GOD FORGIVE US FOR MAKING YOU WAIT SO LONG TO GET THE MEMORIAL YOU SHOULD HAVE HAD SOME 60 YEARS AGO. THERE ARE SO PRECIOUS FEW OF YOU LEFT THAT GOT TO SEE/VISIT IT.
