Samuel Linville
. . Contributed By John Holochwost On Tuesday, March 07, 2000
On my message of February 28th I omitted Sam Linville, an unforgetable character. He was a lean mean machine by anyone's standards even in Vietnam. He had a speech impediment that made him almost impossible to understand when he was excited and he was excitable! Our Pueta Rican Top SGT called him an alien because they could not communicate even though they were supposed to be using the same language. The Greenboro North Carolina woods lost one of their home grown - we lost someone special.
