Agent Orange
. . Contributed By Peggy Walters On Saturday, September 11, 2004
I had a brother-in-law Walter E. Beers who was a staff sergeant with the U.S. Army, having served in Germany and Korea, and served with Battery A, Sixth Battallion 21st Artyllery Division in Vietnam who passed away Dec.16,1990 after an extended illness because of exposure to Agent Orange, and for that they should also have a place on the wall.

Searching for family/ friends of Phillip A. Ducat

I am writing in search of the family and/or friends of Captain Pilot Phillip A. Ducat. I am a junior in high school who is currently involved in the Gold Star Honor Roll Research Project that has been going on at my school since 1986. Past classes have contacted about 891 families of the Vietnam casualities. My mission and the mission of my classmates is to find and locate information, family, and friends of the many men and women that gave their lives in the Vietnam War. Just a few weeks ago, I was given the file on Phillip A. Ducat, and I have dedicated my time to become very familiar with him and try my hardest to honor such a man that gave his life in the war. So far, I haven't been very successful on contacting those who personally knew, casually talked to, or once saw Pilot Ducat. I am hoping that someone could be the link to those who knew Ducat. If you have any information or you would like to help me please contact my teacher at Lake Central High School, Tom Clark, History Dept., 8400 Wicker Ave., St. John, Indiana, 46373 or email at vietnamresearchers@yahoo.com

A Personal Memorial Message
. . Contributed By James Morgan Newton On Monday, September 13, 2004
Over 20 some years ago, I was reading an article in Newsweek Magazine about a Vietnam Veteran who was in Chicago. After finishing this article, I made myself a solemn promise which I have kept to this day: Every time I met a Vietnam Veteran, I would attempt to return to him/her some of the dignity and honor which this country took away by sincerely uttering this small phrase: "Welcome Home American." To all who served in Vietnam who read this posting, my heart and soul are passed out to you in remembrance.

. . Contributed By Gary Williams On Monday, September 13, 2004
I served in Vietnam from 1967-1969. My best friend Paul E. Williams was killed in January or February 1968 during the Tet Offensive. We served with Kilo Battery, 4th Battalion, 11th Marines during that time. If you have any information as to Paul's hometown, living relatives or friends, please contact me at this e-mail address: daniellewilliams@charter.net. Your help is appreciated more than you know. Thanks, Gary Williams, USMC
