I am looking for details on the death of a dear friend SSGT John H. Turner, killed on May 20, 1968 in Quang Nam (DaNang) is death is listed as non-hostile, ground casualty, OTHER ACCIDENT? The rumors here said he was killed by his own men. Can anyone tell me how this happened and what happened to John. He was loved by so many here at home. It would just give us all some closure if wwe knew any details? He was in a MACV. What is that? Did anyone ever know him? He served three times in Nam! HE was from Potwin Kansas.

does anyone know anything about Fred Gertz? i can't find his name on the wall, but i know he died in nam. date of death was oct 1968, possibly in the area of quang nam. he was from a small town in pennsylvania, just out of high school, graduated from schwenksville high school. please reply. thanks.

Looking for then USAF SSGt Stan Lentz, 366 SPS, Danang, 68-69. Came home to Fairchild AFB, Spokane, WA, April 1969. Don't know where he went from there. Stan is a nickname, don't know real first name.I would like to hear from him. He could have retired from the USAF around 1975 - 1980.
