I am looking for anyone who may have known John Raymond Thomas from Sylacauga, AL. He is listed as being from Pacific Grove, CA, but that is just his last registered address. He was an Army E5, Green Beret. He was killed on December 4, 1968 at the age of 23.

looking for survivors of the battle with battalion of nva on july 4&5 1966 in quang tri prov.the company was surround for over 24 hr.s of endless fighting until the next day when we found out 3/4 of our co. was dead. pfc phillips was the last in our co. to die on the 5th of july from sniper fire.
