A Soldier's Memory . . Contributed By Kevin M. Holian On Tuesday, February 22, 2005 My father-in-law just passed on February 20, 2005. He was a WWII veteran with Purple Heart (Rocco Famalare). I had served as a Vietnamese linguist with the Army Security Agency. It is times like this we remember why and how we served, let us pay tribute to veterans, new and old, and now deceased.

Veterans of War. . . Contributed By Jeff On Tuesday, March 15, 2005 I just wish to address a subject that is dear to my heart. This message goes out to anyone that has fought in any war, not just the wars that are listed on the wall. I do not know what is was like to lose a loved one to war, because my father went to Vietnam and returned after his tour. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, my father died 11 years ago. To anyone who fought any war for the freedom of this great nation I applaud you whether you made it home or you gave your life serving your country, I will always remember to say a prayer for your family. YOU ARE NOT, NOR WILL EVER BE FORGOTTEN.
