lcpl.edwin kahkonen jr. was kia on 29 oct. 1967 in thua thien prov. so.vietnam.he was my cousin,though he was more like a big brother to me.he was in alpha co. 4th mar. 3rd mar. div. he was only in country for two months.he was a part of a morter team i believe.if any one remembers him at all,please email me.i miss him alot.thank you very much.

Looking For LRRPs

On the evening of Nov 15th 1967 I rescued a LRRP Team, from the 101st Abn with my Huey, from the mountains North East of Phan Rang. They had been running from an NVA search party, after the LRRPs attack an NVA Battalion CP. I'd like conact with any members of that Team.
