I'm looking to trace my father's military career in Vietnam. He was with the 9th Infantry Division when passed away due to hostile conflict in 1968 at Binh Long, South Vietnam.since we don't have any of his personal effects or the letters he wrote my mother from that time, I'm posting here just on the off chance that someone may have known him and had any information about him during his military career. I never knew him as he passed away 3 months before I was born so this is just a way for me to get to know him. My dad was killed in nam Feb. 11th 1971. He was in Phan Rang . I was only 11 when he died and would love to talk to anyone who knew him. I remember how wonderful he was as a dad and just need to know little things like what he talked about before he died. If anyone could help me please email me.

31 st Engineer Bn ( combat ) Phouc Vinh 68-69

I'm trying to remember the name of a Sp4 that was killed while on a convoy out side Phouc Vinh. He was with the #1 Engineer Bn and we were attached to the 1st Cav. He was in a 5 ton wrecker and was hit by a bullet or schrapnel. Is there a way to look up kia's on the wall by the unit they were in ? Any help would be appreciated.
