. . Contributed By J. Wm. Truitt Smith "Smitty" (c/s: "River Rat") On Wednesday, August 21, 2002
Looking for Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron Twelve (HM-12) airdales/shipmates: Bob "Chis" Chistensen, Bobby Wicklein, Derek H. "Rik" Williams, Dave Connell, Howard "Depp" Deppenbrook, Craig Sonntag, and Lou "Pete" Petrignani. We attended Navigators and fellowshipped at NORVA and aboard USS Inchon and USS Tripoi in Nam ('69-'73). Would like to get a line on these brothers if anyone has any leads. Also trying to get the word out about the AMCM Association reunion in Corpus Christi this year (2002). Anyone having info about these gents or about Robert O. "Jay" Herder, a former neighbor who I last saw in Da Nang in '72, please let him know I'm trying to locate him. Vets check out the Vietnam Veterans Memorial at Angel Fire, N.M. It is a comfortable setting in which to conduct research, to bear our souls and to reflect on those who we left behind. Thanks.

Looking for any shipmates who served with my cousin, Sandy Rice, in Vietnam between 1965-1967. Sandy was tragically killed aboard the Forrestal in the '67 fire and was buried at sea at USNA. Also looking for anyone who served with Art Bedsole, USA (KIA 6/68) Lew Mortimer, USA (KIA 6/71), and Emidio Pasqualucci, USMC (KIA 8/69). All served in SVN and were from Severna Park, Baltimore and Annapolis, Maryland, respectively.

Hello there, I am a student enrolled in a U.S. history course. One of my final projects is to interview a Vietnam veteran and find out how the war impacted their life. Do you know any veterans who would be willing to do this? Thank you, Gillian Bozanic

82nd Airborne-Delta Recon Survivors
. . Contributed By Marie Dubry On Friday, August 23, 2002
Hi. I am looking to find anyone who might have served with my fiance' Kim Spillman in Vietnam between 1966 to his release in 1969. He flew Med-Vac for the 82nd Airborne-Delta Recon Div. I need to see if there is anyone out there who might remember him. He told me he used to train and work out with the weights with some of the guys when they were at base. Guess what he still trains with weights and looks great. Vietnam is a part of his life that I don't and will never completely understand. However I love him and would love for him to have someone to talk to that remembers and was there with him. He doesnt have any close friends. "I" am his one and only best friend. Any replys would be appreciated. I will respond to all. Thank you so much for taking the time :)
