Vietnam Memorial Painting
. . Contributed By Mike W. On Thursday, October 10, 2002
Hello. I am looking for a painting that, in my opinion, captures the essence of the Vietnam Memorial Wall. It has a veteran with head down holding his hand up to the wall and in the reflection is one of his war buddies hold up his hand to touch the veterans hand. I would like to know the name of that piece. If anyone has any information as to where I can purchase a print of that piece of art please email me. Thank you

Veterans Administration and Vietnam Veterans
. . Contributed By Ray Harton USMC Ret. On Monday, October 14, 2002
I would like to caution readers who come here to check out the "facts" about the Veterans Administran and their treatment of "Veterans". I have seen several postings from so called "Vietnam Veterans" who claim to be mistreated by the Veterans Administration. There are over 3 million Vietnam Era Veterans of the Vietnam War. Those Veterans who deserved treatment at the Veterans Hospitals and clinics are well treated by the Govt. Those who don't rate the treatment are the ones who are making these "whiney" complaints. The Veterans Administration was never concieved as a "National Health Care system for Veterans", it was in 1996 that bill clinton opened the doors to the VA for "Every Vietnam Era" veteran, even those who don't rate it, knowing that it was impossible to handle these claims. I suggest those who read these postings, get some real facts before listening to these crybabies.
