My father fought in the Vietnam War. Veterans Day and Memorial Day were all ways sad because my dad cried a lot remembering his buddies that he left behind in the war. Just want to let you know Dad it wasn't for nothing I value my freedom a lot more and have the upmost respect for the young men who gave their lives for us to be here today. For the Veterans who are here with us today, "THANK YOU", MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES". YOU ARE THE TURE AMERICAN HEROS. I love and miss you dad. From your wife Rosemary,Kids:Martha, Ana, Jesus JR., Clara and Becky (Of couse your grand children too) |

Searching for a "brother" in the 11th . . Contributed By Megan Callaghan On Monday, November 11, 2002 Thank you Vets! I am looking for people who may have served with my father. I don't know exactly when he began his service but I'm guessing it was late '66 to July '68 when he was injured. Larry Dennis Callaghan was roughly 20 years old, from Quincy/Weymouth, Massachusetts. His rank was Sergeant (E5). He served in Germany and in Vietnam. If anyone could help me, I'd appreciate it because he recently passed away and the history of his early twenty's and his experiences died with him. God Bless and Welcome Home! |
